I think the patch above is safe for 3.13. I don't know how to upstream
that since it is fixed in 3.15 and this basically means that I need a
patch in 3.13 / 3.14 which won't be in Linus's tree ever... But that's
just a dev process issue. From a technical POV, this patch should go in

After setting modifier-only-shortcut to disabled, I can at least
change layout to the 3rd language using UI or Ctrl-Space. With modifier-
only-shortcut set to something I can't switch layout to the 3rd language
at all!

Updater holding back approx 15 packages. When it 'released' them,

I realise this is probably unrelated to the bug then, I think my
problem lies within the Intel graphics driver somewhere in the kernel.
But for the benefit of anyone searching, I have found a workaround for
my version of the problem...
For me it only freezes on suspend if X is showing at the

The Gedit text editor have a useful feature which is called Latest
Opened Files.
This feature list the most recent files opened on a list after click in
an arrow close to the Open button on the Toolbar.
On my system, I click the arrow to get the list but all that I get is
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.
