Further examination shows that the issue appears to be confined to the
trove client package (python-troveclient) only. The server packages have

The problem is two-fold: it does not remember full-screen, and it does
not remember the last dimension the window was resized to. To me this is
a huge usability issue on a 1920x1200px screen as the window's default
size takes less that 1/4 of the display.

Can confirm same behavior on Ubuntu 14.04 using Unity. Tried creating a
custom hotkey to toggle mpc using my keyboard's Fn key and F4 but it did
nothing. The same custom keybinding with just F4 works, however.

unstable state. Existing console or ssh sessions continue working as
