Yes, you're right. Since I don't use sudo, I didn't notice that 'sudo cd'
doesn't work. An there was also a typo in the commands.
I tested the recipe on my three Ubuntu boxes and this solved the issue.

I was also surprised when I found my GRE tunnels didn't come up after applying
precise-updates.

What is disturbing here is the fact that this bug is unassigned or (in case of
pulseaudio) marked invalid.

Hi I am having this issue as of about a week ago running 14.04 Ubuntu on

I am having a similar problem. Some of the programs I am trying to run
just hang. They range from Take Screenshot to more complex things like
wine and a program running on top of it. 2.6.32-60 runs fine. 2.6.32-61
hangs up the entire box almost. Some resource is locked and that lock is
forcing proc
Also noticed this:
firefox-mozilla-build=29.0.1-0ubuntu1
Settings -> Privacy -> Location Bar. Clicking on the combo box hangs
