I can confirm that it's more kernel issue than qemu. I run kernel
3.11.0-24-generic which is left after upgrade from Saucy and have no
issues for at least two days. Before that with current 3.13.0-30-generic
kernel my Windows guests crashed every 3-4 hours.

I have the same issue with Ubuntu 14.04 64bit, with the latest updates,

I found UT has upgraded its Qt to 5.3.0, but I remember this bug had
been fixed in upstream, why it happened again ?

Sorry for the late response, I must have managed to corrupt a config
file, KDE currently crashes when I try to login using my main user,
circling back to the login manager. Still trying to find out why, but
that's another battlefield.

It's been running on 3.16rc3 upstream for 30 hrs now and the problem has
not reoccured. With 3.13 I'd see the problem after 12-24 hours, so this
is a good sign.

3. I upgraded to newest Saucy.
