Got an error while trying to install ubuntu 1404, however the error message
also has an error.
Tried my luck at askubuntu.com, and was asked to report it as a bug!
So when I started my linux installation (from a DVD), the installer booted up
just nicely, and I had to choose

/precise-proposed on a precise host. Running vmbuilder works as expected
until it prints the output:
