rebooted using upstart and was able to complete the update with no
errors. But when I tried rebooting with systemd it failed to boot. I

this is not fixed. It is fixed for my main user after this update but
not new users. I'm confused as to why since you say the update should
only affects new users.

I have resolved my problem by running kernel 3.14.1-031401 from
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.14.1-trusty/, Ubuntu
14.04 LTS. The host has been running solid for a good 24 hours with 1
Windows Server 2008 R2, 2 cpu, VM running and two additional VMs running
for three hours.
I had this same problem too. I wonder if this is actually a mixture of a
confusing init script message mixed with the quirks about how uwsgi
decided to respond to signals.
This tipped me off:

So uwsgi has two pidfile
1.20.1 is in the juju stable ppa:

With the release of Chrome 36 this week, Chrome 37 went into beta. So,
while Chrome 36 still has this problem, I was gladly surprised when I
installed the beta and noticed the issue seems to be fixed upstream.

I think this is fixed by accident via the redesign I'm working on. The
bluetooth switch watches the state of the adapter, and it seems like
it's behaving properly in my testing. Something worth noting as I get
the branch ready...

It seems there are quite a few variables, errm - bad way to explain
Just as an example; regarding my loss of XP in a dual boot after
choosing the reinstall or upgrade option as reported in reply #27 I'd
almost think it was human error. I am after all legally blind and I
