Sorry, I can't choose the package: go to 'to many matches' or no-go 'no

After a dist-upgrade of my Linux Mint (to Olivia), I ran into the same
problems.
Your fix (renaming all c++/4.7 directory to something like c++/4.7_old)
fixed it. Just my directories were /usr/include/c++/4.7/ and
/usr/include/i386-linux-gnu/c++/4.7/ . But that was easy to find.

Just a while ago it was eating up 100% of CPU and 1 GB Ram and it calls
that Normal in the system monitor. I have to shut down the machine and

This error is from libwayland-client0 - Since the test is checking for
an invalid/missing $DISPLAY Gdk is trying to use the Wayland backend.
The Wayland backend is generating a log message and Gdk is converting
this to a g_error. g_error aborts the program.

The "aticonfig --pxl" command shows:
"aticonfig: No supported adapters detected"
But from AMD Catalyst Control Center (amdccle), it says that the system in
using the "High Performance GPU"
If switch to "Power-saving GPU" (Intel) by using amdccle, suspend /
resume works fine

I have a fresh Ubuntu 14 install with the latest pam_motd. I added a cool shell
script in /etc/update-motd.d/99-coolStuff
Verified correct syntax. doing a run-parts . from that dir gave me
correct results. But
Now I am at step 8 and the kernel is linux-image-3.5.0-rc4. What am I
doing wrong? I would guess that the first bisect would be 3.6.x
(somewhere between v3.6.0 and v3.7.0).

ubiquity doesn't blindly create an esp when you boot it in uefi mode,
which is why grub-install needed modified to fall back to grub-pc, since
installing grub-efi would fail. I suppose that if you boot in bios mode
and pick a side-by-side install on a disk that already has an efi system
partition

The hint that this was a co-installables failure was when you showed the
packages removed and you had numix removed according to the automatic
resolution apt did. If you got numix from a PPA that particular package
had some known issues just like the new split themes such as albatross-
gtk-

I see nearly the exact problem on Dell XPS 15, which is Intel+Nvidia
GeForce GT 630M, should be similar to the Samsung's Intel+GEforce 640M.
I have the Nvidia driver working, both outputs work, but not at the same time.
