No news. As written above, I provided users a workaround with a
.xsession. That workaround was so effective that I even forgot this bug.

Hi, I've got the same problem like Paul. Ubuntu 14.04.1 32-bit, laptop with ATI
4379 Serial ATA Controller (designed by Silicon Image) and a SanDisk SSD.
I already inserted a SiI3512A in a Desktop-PC with the same results, HDD works
fine, SSD can't be accessed in any way.

loading and it was fine after installing chrome-remote-desktop. There
should be a way to flag it as a bad package. The memory issues were

Yesterday evening I tested two applications using positioning.
Everything was working fine. I can't remember if I have closed the apps
or not, but today I noticed unity8-dash being stuck in a restart-loop.
All open/recent apps were killed by the oom killer (lifecycled) and

I had the same problem, there's definitely something wrong with the
installer (I was trying to

Anyhow, since the target is is the Ubuntu chroot, I solved this by re-
creating /dev/shm, removing /run/shm and calling it a day.
