something else trying to turn the powersave off which failed of course
and an error was printed. That confused me.
If I have power support disabled, then no entity should try to switch

I upgraded my laptop again from Trusty to Utopic and the problem
returned with the same symptoms. I then did a clean install of Vivid and
had the same problem afterwards.
