Sam, thank you for your comment. However, your crash report is missing. Please
follow these instructions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that
can be dealt with by the automatic retracer. First, execute at a terminal:
cd /var/crash && sudo rm * ; sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-ge
Frank Feuerbacher, in order for an original reporter to apport-collect
to their report, they need to be booted into the default Ubuntu
repository kernel (not mainline).
As well, I wouldn't report anything to kernel.org just yet as the
information requested by upstream has not been gathered.

R9 290X graphics card. With Intel iGPU enabled in the UEFI, the

Turning off "Connect with AFP" on my iMac makes this bug go away for me.
I can't seem to actually connect with SMB, though. I connect with SFTP
(Remote Login) and it works fine, with no 100% CPU usage.

Open Settings Manager > Session and Startup > Session and clear the
current session cache. This should restore the old state after a relog.
Other than that, this does not appear to be an actual bug, but the
result of misconfiguration. Can you start the panel manually (Alt+F2 >
xfce4-panel)?
