On my new Acer Aspire E 13 ES1-311C03V i installed a dual boot with
Ubuntu 14.04
The touchpad (labeled as PRECISION TOUCHPAD on the sticker on the
computer) works fine on windows 8, but not in ubuntu (from the
beginning). In windows everything works, but in Ubuntu it does not

Should this be done for all bugs found on packages tested? How would I
know if the bug is upstream and not related to the system it is
installed on?
