I can confirm that this bug also affect the bluefish-editor. I am on
Ubuntu 14.04 and I am attaching two screenshots before and after
bluefish get blurred! Even after I used the legacy scrollbar.

I have the same problem here using amd gpu and cpu.
I tried with free drivers and catalyst... but nothing changed. Blender
crashes everytime I need to use a Blender dialog.
Like said by @HAYASHI mizuki, launching blender with the debug option

name=systemd controller. If the user doesn't own its cgroup, LXC will
not be able to create the entry for the container and the container will
not be able to write
Oh and the same goes for containers that aren't running systemd but are
running logind as logind also expects to be able to create sub-entries
in the name=systemd controller, which with the current cgroup ownership,
it won't be able to do.

Sound works fine after restart, but then suddenly the speakers go
silent. The headphone jack is still giving out sound, though. The
problem never occurred before, I first noticed it only after a recent
Linux kernel upgrade, so I suspect it may be related.

I found a decent workaround: use the main server archive.ubuntu.com
instead of the mirror. Notice how it includes only the known-good
addresses; security.ubuntu.com includes a mix of good and bad hosts, and
us.archive.ubuntu.com includes only the bad ones.
$ dig +short archive.ubuntu.com
It is really strange, nobody uses ubuntu with xtables-addons, really?? I
think ubuntu package must be upgraded to 2.4 in trusty updates ASAP.

I don't know what happened. It was downloading updates and then I just
got a window popping up saying that the installer crashed. I wasn't
doing anything strange. I have an external dock for SATA disks connected
via USB3 with one disk in it. I cannot check the logs since the
