Cinnamon. After the upgrade of these packages from 4.3.10-dfsg-1ubuntu2
to 4.3.10-dfsg-1ubuntu3, Cinnamon started to use the 3D rendering
properly.

When I'm typing and correct something, the font size stays the same at
the correction, but when I go to the end of the line to continue my
typing, the font size is smaller, not larger.
That's because there is a hidden / font tag at the end of the line
(but before the spot where you are typing).
Reassigning to X.org's evdev driver then. If evtest gets the correct
events, then kernel, keymaps, and evdev are alright, but it seems the
press events somehow get lost in X.org's input driver.

I tested with Linux 4.0rc2. Without acpi=off, my system froze during the
boot process. With acpi=off set, I was able to boot into X-Windows, log
in, and start my web browser. Soon thereafter, however, my system froze
up complete: mouse pointer did not respond, and no key combination
provoked any

Not that's it's a realistic resolution, but noticed this week when
upgrading from a 570 GTX to 970 GTX card, the flickering so far seem s
to have gone away. As a work around for the flickering within the
NVidia server settings I'd set the Preferred Mode to Maximum
performance. However I haven't
I just installed 3.19.1 kernel and the Bluetooth works.
What should I do now? Use this kernel until Vivid is out? or upgrade to vivid
right now?
