fglrx or fglrx-updates drivers, reboot, within 6 hours my 8GB RAM is
used up and swap is thrashing.

get --purge autoremove, then reboot again... memory use

On debugging, it seems that std::rethrow_exception isn't incrementing
__cxa_get_globals()-uncaughtExceptions, so when the exception is caught
it's decremented from 0 to MAXINT.

This isn't a bug in software-properties. What I can't decide is if it's
a bug in virtualbox-guest* or ubuntu-drivers-common. Basically, here's
what's happening:
1) The virtualbox-guest* packages have a modalias for the guest services, but
not the VGA controller.
2) We pulled the DKMS drivers

Thank you for taking the time to report this crash and helping to make
this software better. This particular crash has already been reported
and is a duplicate of bug #1062401, so is being marked as such.
This should work after you apt-get install python3-venv
(python3.4-venv).
venv is a module in the Python 3 standard library. I don't understand
why it would need a separate package on Ubuntu.
Someone who's installing additional packages could just as well install
the better-understood
