Hi Colin, I thought the visual.d scripts present, *and manipulate* an in
memory view of partitions, which are later checked by check.d, and then
written to disk by commit.d. If it isn't visual.d, then what
manipulates the partitions? The problem seems to be that ubiquity is
running init.d -
As an update ~test3 updated ppc64el symbols and ubuntu7 is a no-change
rebuild of ~test3 with a saner version number. Putting forward to QA for
further testing and signoff.

When installing with disk-detect/multipath/enable=true it would be
sensible to automatically install multipath-tools(-boot?) along with a
/etc/multipath.conf that was used by the installer. There also seems to
be a delta between the kpartx command
Jason Hobbs shared a workaround.
1) mark node as broken
2) power off node outside of maas (ipmi commands)
3) edit node and use 'Check Now' to sync power state
4) mark node as fixed
Node is now ready.
