Swiping from the bottom edge of the screen should let me switch between tabs,
isn't it?
At this time I have to use the drop down menu on the toolbar of the browser to
see open tabs, or to open a new tab. Is it possible t
I have an Acer Aspire E 11 E3-112-C6YY which shows the same probably-
buggy firmware behaviour.
As Peter found, it'll boot from an Ubuntu USB mass storage device
without a problem, but will never show an Ubuntu installation on the
same EFI system partition as Windows Boot Manager. But it will reli

C++ library (for wx 2.8, both were in wxwidgets2.8).

The bug isn't really about changing the time, it's about changing
automatic and manual. We've figured out that this fix is only part of
the problem. This works well if the device is read/write but it still
doesn't persist after reboot. We need to figure out where the daemon is
writing the state
Remember similar stalling while booting in MacBook 2,1 issues predate the
ubuntu 3.19 kernel. They are in 3.16 and previous I think also, just not as
consistently or persistently as the in the 3.19. Would be nice for Ubuntu
to figure this out and backport all supported kernels.

Some additional info: nm-applet is not just disappearing when changing
networks, it will also disappear after resuming from sleep. I have found
an interim workaround:
sciri@iko:~$ sudo service network-manager stop; sudo service network-
manager start
That will at least get the nm-applet icon back

I'm testing the silo and don't really understand what is supposed to
happen. I first set my timezone, and even though the setting is set to
Manual the time adjusts correctly to my current timezeone.
Seems like problem 1 is the default setting should be Automatic if it's
going to use that behavior.

Can confirm this was a problem for me and following his steps fixed it.
It appears that if any partitions exist on the disk at all this issues
will come up (I happened to have had an msdos partition, which differs
from the existing ext4 described by Lance).

O.K., if not maybe one "set wallpape" fixes it.
There've been Wily xserver updates to xserver - one of the xserver
