logout when using the xorg-edgers ppa; however, the virtual consoles
still warp (ctrl alt F1-6). If I'm not using xorg-edgers, I have the

after installing gnome3-staging PPA on vivid (ie, gnome 3.16), closing
my laptop's lid no longer results in the system suspending.
journalctl shows that the lid close event is detected:

It may be not perfect, but is the best that Realtek engineers made so

(This one was taken after booting with wifi enabled and toggling wifi
off and on once. It did not connect to the network during that.)

Forgot to add: the hidden wifi was not in the list which was returned by
wpa_supplicant.
