I see this too on an XPS13 9343 with external monitor. The cursor is
correctly sized when over certain windows (eg, firefox, chromium), but
small when over title bars, the panel, the background, the launcher and
some gtk UI elements (eg, parts of the calculator). This list is almost

Thanks for letting me know. Yes, the package in the archive is out of
date and needs an SRU. The SRU process can be painfully slow which is
why I suggest using the PPA.

1) It's on a wired interface (802.1x wired)
2) Suspend isn't involved; it never works
3) Wireless 802.1x works perfectly on the same machine (although I haven't

Regarding comment #, it doesn't happen in every case: in a virtual
machine I set up for testing no matter how many times I close and reopen
the session I still get the no system tray detected on this system
message.

Not sure resolvconf is the correct place to report this bug, but I'm
unable to resolve domains with large EDNS0 replies.
A couple of examples are www.sciencedaily.com and www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov.

I did also some tests and want to post my results:
I test GPS signal with WIFI = ON and location service = OFF - Then you
got no GPS signal in the Apps Here, Sensor Status, GPS Navigation
GPS signal WIFI = Off and location service = OFF - NO GPS signal in all
three Apps
WIFI = ON and
Windows XP system with two 300gb disks.
They were raid1, due to performance issues the second disk was removed from the
raid
installing 14.04 installer does not find windows, so as per some suggestions i
apt-get remove dmraid
re run install and windows is seen and installs system on second
As a workaround I built a ppa with working driver for that module.
Install it this way.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:hanipouspilot/rtlwifi
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install rtl8723au-bt-dkms linux-firmware

Ok, this bug is back again.
Here is what occured.
After unchecking the X11 sync a few weeks ago, I noticed that all of my
window menus were missing.
While poking around in CCSM to remedy this problem I accidentally
clicked on restore defaults. This caused unity to be disabled somehow.
