After installing, uninstalling or updating an app, all the app icons
disappear for a second or two. That's annoying and makes me feel like

update notification based on PackageKit, but AFAICT, users of Xubuntu
and other desktops are still stuck using the (now broken) update-

On running mercurial commands which add/remove lots of files from the
disk (typically hard linked) the following error shows up. Since btrfs

Ah forget about above comment, the old libraries were still being used.
I had to remove /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/thunarx-2 and link it to
/usr/local/lib/thunarx-2, after which it works! Please make this
upstream, it's a very simple solution.
