Thanks. The updated 1:1.2.8-6ubuntu1.2 version of nfs-common did indeed pull

1st try: 'grub-install /dev/sda failed'
2nd try (now): Everything went perfect, and when it was almost complete, the
installer crashed and it brought me here to write about that bug.
