Thank you for your bug report but that's how the dependency system
works, you can't remove things used by a program without uninstalling it
as well. Note that removing/reinstalling things is usually of no use on
Ubuntu since you basically just go back where you were when
reinstalling...

Hi I just upgraded to OTA8 on Mako and successfully connected a
bluetooth mouse (Logitech M557) and an external screen. I forgot to
bring a keyboard but luckily when I clicked on the login to enter the

This may be coming from xfce4-volumed running in background. If that is
indeed the case, you can either switch xfce4-volumed off or disable
notifications in the pulseaudio plugin properties dialog.

That appears to be the case for the 2 notifications.
Still, shouldn't see one when just logging in I assume - certainly not
touching volume at that point.

I've just updated to the latest BIOS, and it now is reporting 3 memory
modules are inaccessible, so this is looking more like it's hardware-
related. I'll report back as soon as we've resolved the hardware
issues.
