I can confirm this problem. I got a Thinkpad X230 with a 13 inch screen
and I experienced the same behavior. The account settings window is fine
with email accounts where geary found the settings automatically (GMail
for example) - because in those cases the window is comparably small -
but NOT for

I have Ubuntu 15.10 with the 3.2.1 Version of rhythmbox, finding out
that the party mode is not working.

It's hard to tell. The Asus A88XM-A has a Asus UEFI BIOS which provided
me with that option, by default it's turned off but I turned it on way
back before this problem and it worked fine until this problem started.
Turning it off seemed to fixed the problem in my case. In your case you

freezes sometimes as well. It happens only when I use the touchpad. I
found a workaround, and will leave it here for the time being.

It's not possible to make bluetooth work. Pressing Fn+F2 doesn't change
anything. Sometimes a grey (inactive) bluetooth icon appears but
disappears instantly after attempt to turn it on.

No this is the only one. Prior to that, I have used Ethernet.
I changed resolv.conf but I could not verify whether that helped, after
a reboot it was reseted again.

Martin Pitt, I've tried all the recipes, here is what booting with
"debug" shows after shutdown (attached image).

I am not sure if it is good to apply the robustness principle on
security functions. In those
