Thanks for reporting this bug. This appears to be fixed in the version
of dynare in the current Ubuntu release 15.10. Installing dynare and
emacs packages successfully installs and configures all packages.
If this qualifies for an SRU and if there is sufficient interest, an SRU
bug can be filed
I make the mistake regularly of writing a non-breaking space instead of
a regular space, when writing shell scripts. It produces errors that are
very difficult to detect.
