Arc, no problem on my end, I just want to see your issue resolved.
I also have had issues outstanding for longer then I would have liked.
For example, one that will never be fixed due to upstream support
ceasing, and the software is proprietary (i.e. no open source developers

I tried the latest mainline kernel from that PPA, and still have the
same issue.
And actually, I installed a bunch of updates today (turns out my mirror
was out of date, so I switched to a different one) and now it's even
worse - the media keys don't work even on a fresh boot.

i think what you actually want to seed is ubuntu-snappy-cli, that has
less dependencies ... though given you need to install the 70-80MB big
ubuntu-core snap additionally a few extra MB do perhaps not matter ...

There have been some discussions on IRC (#ubuntu-desktop) which have
clarified the confusion wrt unity-control-center and GNOME Flashback.
One part of the solution is that u-c-c should not overwrite an already
existing XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP value, and I've filed a MP (linked above)

Intel graphics has never been pain-free for me.
The "stuck on render ring" appears at least since Feb 8th in my logs. There
have been other hangs before that are reported. I would have a hard time
narrowing down when this one appeared first.

For what it's worth I've found the input setting defaults back to the
last device detected. Simply plug in the device you want to be default
last and you shouldn't have to continually reset. That said it's quite
surprising to me something this fundamental to the user experience has
gone this long

ok, actually I think this is simply an error in virt-aa-helper.
apparmor's load_profile() should be being called before the blockcommit
begins, to add rw access to the base image. Which is why the rw rule is
there. But the 'deny' rule is for some reason still there.

Would you be able to narrow which package precisely caused the
regression based on the date when it started to occur?

I don't seem to be able to reproduce.
I did try making a patch though that you can try that adds a separate
reference count to fuse_io_priv separate from the request count. I don't
know if it fixes anything that moving spin_unlock() doesn't, but to me
this seems more straightforward and less

I initially tried the FileDialog QML type, but it doesn't work on Unity
8 due
I have not seen it on startup or restart. I don't hibernate.
