I have also the same issue, but I have a Realtek card. Running ubuntu
15.10 and after suspend or restart it is saying network cable unplugged
very often. And network seems to go down everytime you suspend.
Unpluggin and plugging it sometimes help, but you may need to do it
multiple times.

I tested a test kernel with a revert of the three commits listed in
comment #164. The test failed within an hour, so none of those commits
caused the regression.

AFAICS, this is the place where the fix in Ubuntu could eventually show up:

chromium-browser works before version 49.
If I go back to version 48 it works.

I'd like to ask for removal of unity8-lxc from the archive.
## Rationale:
unity8-lxc originally used the Ubuntu Desktop Next ISO for the LXC's
rootfs, but that has been deprecated and removed some months ago. We
then tried to use a metapackage, but that is becoming a

Manual download or installation should inhibit
Ubuntu-restricted-extras version 65 is already installed but to no
avail. System is Intel MB with GMA x4500 built in graphics. System has
all updates through today. After installation of VLC, there is no
