I have just performed an update of this calendar app with the latest
update sent out today and this appears to of resolved the issue of the
double dots. I have performed a sync and the dots have not returned. I
can only take it that this issue has been resolved, thanks to the hard

Looking at the kernel CPUFreq Governors documentation[1], It looks like
powersave is actually a pretty poor default value for many applications,
but especially servers.
I'm not sure about low-power applications like laptops, and how power
usage is affected by frequency on other architectures.

Hi,
With the new Ubuntu archive servers, we saw constantly high load and
after some tinkering, we found that it was mostly CPUs being woken up to
see if they should enter idle states. Changing the CPU frequency scaling
governor to "performance" saw a considerable drop.

I can use one machine to start an X11 forwarded client on another. I did
this to start gnome-terminal on a Ubuntu Server 16.04 from a Kubuntu
16.04 desktop by using
ssh -Y -f 192.168.0.89 gnome-terminal
This works. Then I look at that gnome-terminal's environment and DISPLAY
and SSH_CLIENT
I just re-read the originator report for this bug. My problem is not
exactly the same as his in that I DO get a X11 forwarded client to work
but I cannot connect any more of them except through additional X11
forwarded ssh commands from the original client. Should I report this as
a separate bug?

On Ubuntu 14.04 with latest updates, when using the unity panel friends
lens it doesnt show any Facebook messages stream or any info related to
this social account.
Online accounts are setup properly with facebook and twitter account.
Unity Friends lens shows Twitter stream
Another detail: when I fill in correct credentials, it says "Login error".
When I fill in incorrect password, it says "Network error". Really weird..
