Maybe wishlist: it would be nice to have GlusterFS client mounts in an
unprivileged container.
Tested with LXD 2.0.0 and glusterfs 3.7.6 (i.e. Xenial without any PPA)

I don't have a 4K monitor, but the following steps fixed video tearing
with Kubuntu 16.04 on my Intel i7-2600k CPU with integrated Intel HD
3000 Graphics.
Edit /etc/environment and add the following lines:
__GL_YIELD="USLEEP"
KWIN_TRIPLE_BUFFER=0
KWIN_USE_BUFFER_AGE=0
Save the file and reboot.
Amazingly, Bluetooth ON/OFF seems to have an effect on this bug. I have
been running with Bluetooth constantly ON for the past couple of days
and have seen no flicker at all. As soon as I turn off Bluetooth a
flicker occurs after a couple of minutes. I also copied the firmware
file from the
Public bug reported:
If you try to log out of Ubuntu, and Diodon is running, the user account
does not log out.
This happens on every log-out attempt. You can then click on the Didion
indicator, select Quit, and the user account is immediately logged out.
It seems as if a Diodon process is not
I've changed the tag back to verification-need as its not clear from
comments 14 and 15 that the package in xenial-proposed was tested.

Strange, I rebuilt the snap today, built a new amd64 snappy image, and
ran through all the tests in kvm twice with no crash. Did something go
in that could have fixed it?
