I don't know why you want us to open a new bug report.
This one describes the issue. And this is still a problem in 16.04.1 LTS
fully updated.
Also it happens with global menu and LIM (locally integrated menus). The
program can be covered by both panel and launcher or only by launcher.

At least part of the reason the upgrade was not calculable is because of
the libtag1-vanilla package you have installed from a PPA.
libtag1-vanilla 1.10-0ubuntu1~trusty0 LP-PPA-mixxx-mixxx
libtag1-vanilla:i386 1.10-0ubuntu1~trusty0 LP-PPA-mixxx-mixxx

Thank you for taking the time to report this crash and helping to make
this software better. This particular crash has already been reported
and is a duplicate of bug #1609849, so is being marked as such.
The mirror of the Ubuntu archive you are using is an unofficial one, so
it was disabled during the upgrade process and this left your system
without an upgrade path. Please switch to an official mirror of the
Ubuntu archive using software-properties-gtk and try upgrading again.
