I think I found a regression with popupUtils.open() in rc-proposed (r512
on mako):
I have some code which is invoking a dialog in this way:
PopupUtils.open(Qt.resolvedUrl("DeleteConfirmation.qml"), null, { ...

This now doesn't work, but it works on OTA-12.

using the touchpad,
I can confirm same issue here after upgrade or 14.04 to 16.04.
Note that on my system, / is not on LVM.
lvm is not initiated at boot time nor at init time and the system gave
up mounting /usr (/ is not on LVM on my system). For me, this is even
worst, even when / is mounted and we are supposed

This issue affects all themes and icon sets that I have tried it with on 16.04.
It also remains in the daily build of 16.10.
Reverting to gtk2-engines-murrine=0.98.2-0ubuntu2 fixes the problem, but this
does not seem to be available in 16.10 so is more difficult to fix.
