Just tried nouveau for the first time in a long time on a pure 16.10
machine.
Mir and Unity8 seems to work fine for me. Although not for that long,

I have tested libica - 2.6.1-3 on Ubuntu 16.10 and can report the expected
performance improvements.
However, I was not able to retrieve this new libica version on Ubuntu
16.04.1 from the repositories. Is it available for
