The install logs seem to indicate that you already have an apache2.conf
file on the filesystem. As such the above question asking you which
configuration file to keep should have been asked of you. However,
That made me think about grub, so i reinstalled grub as described here

sudo grub-install /dev/sdX
sudo update-grub
sudo reboot
and voila, the error message is gone.

I ran boot-repair, but the tool had not been updated during the

Just for the record, I managed to find a workaround for this: I had an
old installation, so just moving /etc/init.d/espeakup to
/etc/init.d/espeakup.old (or simply removing /etc/init.d/espeakup) will
