I am trying to boot the snappy core image in a kvm instance to attempt
to test all snaps unity 8 personal stuff, but I'm unable to boot past
the login page in the initial setup, as it is not possible to type all

I think that this bug is about something with yesterday's upload.

For me the DNS server is also not configured properly. I'm using Ubuntu
16.10, NetworkManager OpenVPN plugin, I have specified the DNS server in
the IPV4 tab explicitly, yet it is apparently not used to resolve
addresses. The DNS server itself works when asked from "host". The VPN's

Your disk is currently partitioned to boot in bios mode, but you booted
the 16.04 installer in EFI mode. A warning message prompted you that
this could be a problem and recommended performing a bios mode install
instead, but you chose not to. You either need to perform the bios mode
