I did the apport-collect 1660389 but in the meantime I installed the driver
manually to get it to work. Do I need to uninstall the driver for this device
for further investigations?
The apport-collect 1660389 was done when I had the driver installed.

Title:
I started a kernel bisect between 4.4 final and v4.5-rc1. The kernel
bisect will require testing of about 7-10 test kernels.
I built the first test kernel, up to the following commit:
1289ace5b4f70f1e68ce785735b82c7e483de863
The test kernel can be downloaded from:
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~jsalis
I built a Xenial test kernel with the patch mentioned in comment #3.
The test kernel can be downloaded from:
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~jsalisbury/lp1654288/
Can you test this kernel and see if it resolves this bug? You would
need to install both the linux-image and linux-image-extra .deb
package
I built the next test kernel, up to the following commit:
1297667083d5442aafe3e337b9413bf02b114edb
The test kernel can be downloaded from:
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~jsalisbury/lp1659340/1297667083d5442aafe3e337b9413bf02b114edb
Can you test that kernel and report back if it has the bug or not? I
