test kernel 4.4.0-67.88~lp1679898Commitdf0a1b9cce531 works. Tested it 5
times and it does not run out of memory but it does temporarily detect 7
new disks (where as 4.4.0-66 only detected 3 new disks)
In the original 4.4.0-67 the extra/fake disks are detected and the extra
/dev/sd* device files

Ran apt-get dist-upgrade this morning. The vlan package was updated to
vlan_1.9-3.2ubuntu1.16.04.3_amd64. Rebooted and now /sys/class/net
contains only the lo device. My 16.04 server is now cut off from my
network.

Hi Christian,
This is QEMU 2.11 and linux 4.13 at minimum. So definitely not a Ubuntu
17.10 thing. This is targeted for Ubuntu 18.04.

Alright, attached the different info as requested.
As previously said, only downgrading libldap allowed for libreoffice to
work again... despite how odd it may seem/be. Not sure why, or how
amazed you are, but there we are ;)
