As far as I know, the lag generally happens using bluetooth scanning
(searching). Although scanning should be less disruptive than it is,
this seems to be a problem that persists even in current Bluez releases.

No, I think bug 1687245 might be a slightly different issue. And even if

I experience the same bug on my Thinkpad Yoga 260 with Ubuntu 16.04.2
and 4.11.7 kernel (the issue happened also on older kernels) with my
Thinkpad Compact Bluetooth Keyboard with Trackpoint. The dmesg output

Now that maven 3.5 is available in artful, I am no longer able to
reproduce this issue. There might be some interdependencies between
wagon2 and maven, but it seems to have been resolved. If you can verify
that maven works for you as well with the latest upgrades, I believe
this can be marked fix

intense. The level of intensity required is only, say, rsync'ing a
