Ever since updating nvidia driver to nvidia-381 the external HDMI connectors
stopped working.
Neither the native HDMI port nor HDMI over Thunderbolt works.
The driver recognizes the external monitor (existence and resolution)
but does not provide a picture. Thunderbolt #1
Not sure how "valid" my local verification germinate runs against the changed
content were.
I definitely see it:
a) still completing with good RC
b) the changes showing up in generated virt-host.seedtext
But at least with the current invocation my locally created rdepends dir is
empty.

When I print a PDF from my raspberry pi (raspbian jessie) through CUPS (
CUPS 1.7.5) service the first job prints fine but after that any other job
prints random set of characters at the top of the page. I run `CUPS error_log`
but it has nearly 26,000 lines so I will attach

I did dkms uninstall -m psmouse/elantech-x551c
Then I removed the newer kernels, rebooted and tried reinstalling the kernels
(both 4.4.0-81 and 4.10.0-24), but they still give exactly the same error and
then don't get recognized by Grub
I'm starting to think maybe it's better to do a fresh

A fair point... The only files that mosquitto can create are a pid file
(if created then occurring before this call to umask), the persistence
file and log files. Having the log files readable by all would probably
be a bad thing as well.
