working (when you press them, no brightness icon appears).
Last update brought in NVidia drivers 384.90, but no joy, the problem is

Actually I found the solution. It seems like the black screen and the
crashing are two different issues. The black screen seems to only when I
debug suspend. The crashing after resume seems to be from another issue

No audio comes out of the right speaker on the laptop. When playing a
test video such as https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTvJoYnpeRQ the
right-channel audio is never heard (i.e., it does not get converted into
mono and played through the left speaker).

In the meantime: my charger died a week after, i got a new one and the
problem disappeared. So it wasn't a software bug in my case.

while installation is running, it crashed. The problem report is that
hdd maybe is old or broken but I was try with 2 different hdd so I don't
know that it mean.

The current version in Ubuntu 17.10 is 3.23, the one in Debian sid is
3.26.
Ubuntu 17.10 is set to be released with GNOME 3.26. It would be nice to
have gitg updated for consistency.

There have been no updates to this bug report, but I wanted to post that
the latest daily 17.10 image (installed today, 10.07.2017) still has
this screen tearing problem. Worse, on a Yoga 910, it adds a problem
that the screen starts rotated 90 clockwise and can't be fixed.

This is not a bug report. However I know how you could make a better program.
I think it would be nice to have a "New Tab Button" on the toolbar in Thunar.
Another suggestion is to have a configurable toolbar with a selection of
buttons, eg. "New Window", "Actions", "Settings
I wish anyone luck when trying to improve the status of the driver for
this codec. Some aspects do feel weird such as the interplay between
mixer channels.

I got a better result by changing "volume=ignore" to "volume=100", that
makes ure teh Master channel is stuck to 100% so teh woofers get used.
