This can be easily circumvented manually by creating a systemd unit
override file for mysql service.
One should create a file, named
"/etc/systemd/system/mysql.service.d/limits.conf", with this contents
(just two lines):

Attached is the output of lspci -vvvnn command. This is taken on
4.13.0-041300-generic which had bnxt_en 1.7.0 driver.

The solution was to set the kernel parameter acpi=off in the grub
config.
Unfortunately I cannot access the PC anymore to try out different

So I have been running with:

for the last month or so with no issues
I suppose APST is about reducing power consumption, but
Ubuntu 17.10 is not out yet and what are you doing as a noob running unreleased
software?

1. Attach an external monitor to a laptop and set the output to external
display only
2. Suspend the laptop
3. Detach the external monitor
4. Resume the laptop

The system didn't resume and this crash was present

Can you file a new bug?
SM/PM951 is an OEM version, which means it's already inside the laptop when you
unbox it.
That means we can make specific workaround for the laptop/NVMe combination.

start it from GNOME Shell's dash, using the "all applications" category.
For some reason it never makes it to the frequently used list. If it is
of interest:
