I like proposal #1. Ubuntu-software is not unity specific but rather
Ubuntu specific. Other desktop-shell may want to use that Ubuntu
branding. If they want that they only need to provide a override in
/usr/share//applications/ & install ubuntu-software. But

I also had to install the "lightdm-gtk-greeter-settings" package, as it was not

this bug is that the Right Alt doesn't always select all text: it does
with Ctrl+F in LibreOffice and on some web pages in Firefox, but most of
