OK, so I rebooted into 4.13.0-39 and as soon as I was logged in the USB
audio started working. So I thought maybe that indicated a regression
between 4.13 and 4.15. HOWEVER< I then rebooted again, into 4.15 once
more, and now I have audio in and out on the USB devices.
I'm not sure exactly why,
This is now fixed in upstream, and I've prepared an NMU to sid to fix it
in Debian. This should therefore automatically be fixed after the first
debian sync for 18.10.

libmozjs24 does not support 48-bit virtual addresses on arm64. 48-bit virtual
addresses are enabled in the Ubuntu 16.04 kernel (though not on the kernel used
on the buildds). This causes applications to crash.
