the touchpad was always working after suspend/resume only the

I do not know much about Ubuntu policies, but I can add my grain of salt
as a LyX developer.
1/ it would be very important to get at least LyX 2.1.5 in 16.04LTS,
since the last stable version is updated to be able to read file from
the next series.
2/ similarly 18.04 should at least upgrade to 2.
