I just tried booting the USB drive of ubuntu-18.04-desktop-amd64.iso on

Two years later, still a problem in 18.04 installer. I was trying to
install Ubuntu to a USB drive.
The graphical installer has a dropdown for "bootloader location", but it
does not work and instead installs to /dev/sda1.

Next freeze happened.
I woke system up, logged in and started Thunderbird. Thunderbird was not open
yet but froze. Funny thing is that it seemed to ru in the background, because
when I get a new msg, it will play a wave file and it played it.
Maybe something in the syslog file?

The "main" Bluetooth skipping problem was fixed a few months ago in Ubuntu
18.04 here:

ubuntu software center worked as post #12 calls the "correct" solution.

thunderbird add-ons menu to get the new xul-ext-lightning one to show

The /var/lib/cloud/instance is a directory in Ubuntu18.04.1 and Ubuntu18.10
daily build, while it is a symbolic link in Ubuntu18.04 GA, could this be a
regression bug for Ubuntu release? Or for some reason, it was changed from
Ubuntu18.04.1. I will go
Updated a 16.04 LTS machine to the latest updates and was still able to
install / remove moon-buggy.

Hmm, same source file osdWindow.js but different lines of code 223-224.
And the callers are the same as this bug. So it sounds like the same bug
in 18.10 but the line of code has moved.
Please verify that you do not have any gnome-shell extensions installed?

Also, over here, right it was supposed to be at least an open "ubuntu"
bug . . . lost in LP. Right after I filed this bug I ran an
update/upgrade and that seems to have revived the key stroke revival
from suspend. I'll monitor it a bit and if it has been resolved I'll
try to take this bug down or
