To add a bit more detail (maybe unrelated but with so little evidence

I tried to install Thunar 1.8.1 as you asked me, but not Thunar 1.8.1, nor
libthunarx-3-0_1.8.1 can be installed on Lubuntu Bionic because of dependency
problems. Thunar needs Thunar-data 1.8.1, libtunarx needs libxfconf 4.6.0 or
newer which I could not find... and hopefully doesn't
lots of "W: " type warnings there - looks like you have multiple
entries in Software Update - Settings - Other Software. Suggest fix by
deleting all but one "google-chrome" entries.
