Tried the hardcoded kernel on 18.04, verified the following:
1. Machine still won't boot without noapic,
2. Touchpad doesn't work, dmesg | grep -i i2c and dmesg | grep -i elan doesn't
give any indication that it detected the device,
3. Confirmed with uname -a that I was running
I deployed using MAAS 2.5.0beta3, and the result is successful. This is
