I recreated the problem where I could see the errors in dmesg (and the console)
and then added the firmware to /lib/firmware/nvidia/gx100. After that:

I have this problem. Everything works great with my two monitor setup
until my screen blanker comes on. After I wake the system (which my
secondary monitor seems to wake up a couple of seconds faster) when I
click the application launcher, the screen opens up on my secondary
monitor. All windows
yaml-cpp 0.6.2-1ubuntu1 uploaded, with a symbols file (and proposed on
salsa, too https://salsa.debian.org/debian/yaml-cpp/merge_requests/2 ).
I'll upload rebuilds of the rdepends, too.

Hey, I've just upgraded from bionic to cosmic and I seem to be hit by
this. Perhaps. What I experience is that while I have an encrypted root,
with the cosmic kernel I don't get a chance to input my passphrase.

gnome-control-center doesn't start. There is no crash, core dump, etc.
This bit in syslog (/var/log/syslog) gives us some information:
gnome-control-c[2962]: invalid unclassed pointer in cast to 'GtkWindow'
gnome-control-c[2962]: gtk_window_present_with_time: assertion 'GTK_

3. upgrade it to current version, and check if there is error ( there is )
