behaving normally... running journalctl -b I see that the system did in
fact reboot causing the Docker shutdown, and that it came back online at
19:29:45 with multiuser system target being reached at 19:30:04.

just the last message you happen to see before the hang occurs.

There isn't one. Ctrl-Return is consistent with Safari and Chrome on
mac.

Yes< I was using the Disks app from the Control Center. I used gParted
and solved the problem. Unfortunately I have had to reinstall Ubuntu 3
times since then, so additional data is not available. (Always keep you
data in a separate partition from the Linux partition. Then w
