After installing the 32bit ISO I could not boot into the OS.
With nomodeset I just saw the enclosed picture.
Without nomodeset I saw briefly the same picture and then just a black
screen no blinking cursor.

Impact:
The upstream process for stable tree updates is quite similar
in scope to the Ubuntu SRU process, e.g., each patch has to
demonstrably fix a bug, and each patch is vetted by upstream
by originating either directly
Please @SRU, check the bionic debdiff that's also attached into this
case.

I'll wait for the next SRU for bionic to be in -proposed to provide
Bionic full verification just like I did to Disco. It shall not take too
long and the version currently in -proposed will be superseded by the
one we have in the merge request right now.

OBS Studio (snap)
apport-collect did not create anything meaningful (exited with "Package
linux-hwe not installed and no hook available, ignoring"), but I ran a few
commands (including dmesg) to try to include a more complete report.
Please let me know if you need anything else.
My computer is the Clevo N750WU
Reopening mesa for bionic, because the revert needs to be dropped once
the kernel is fixed, otherwise Ice Lake is broken because it needs
softpin for the DRI driver to work.
