I got this error, too:
kodi-x11: ../src/gallium/drivers/nouveau/nouveau_vp3_video.c:91:

Fresh install of Ubuntu Server 18.04 (+SSH +Samba)
Kodi install like so:
sudo apt-get install software-properties-common

I'm running Lubuntu in a qemu 2.12.1 VM. 18.04 works fine.
When installing a fresh Lubuntu 19.04 or dist upgrade the 18.04 version
the login screen doesn't appear anymore. Dropping to the console and
typing `startx` launches the desktop successfully.
Ubuntu 19.04 does not ap
linux-modules-extra package was missed.
