On my laptop (Thinkpad L520) it doesn't work. Curiously, when swiping up with mouse the OSK doesn't come up when Chromium is on the view, but it comes up when on desktop. The OSK pops up fine on terminal, login field and text editor. It also doesn't work on Chrome. -- You received this bug

This is mostly a "mee too" post. Using a GTX 1060. The upgrade to 19.10 did not go well, stuck with graphical artifacts after a reboot. Further reboots were met with kernel panics. Finally managed to boot kernel 5.0 in safe mode and finish the installation by choosing the "repair packages" option.
