After booting into 5.3.0-26 on my Lenovo X390, it has started to loose
network connection when connected to the Thunderbolt 3 Gen 2 dock after
a while. No traffic goes through. Enabling wifi after it works fine,
but unselecting "Enable Networking" in network manager makes the whole
computer hang
I tried "dtoverlay=dwc2,dr_mode=peripheral" and "dtoverlay=dwc2" with
ubuntu-5.3 kernel, I could see "[18977.499410] usb 1-1.1: device
descriptor read/64, error -110" sometimes too (not always happen), if I
run "rmmod g_ether/g_cdc; modprobe g_ether/g_cdc" many times, it could
work without those

I can reproduce this by running:
sudo gpsdctl add /dev/ttyUSB0
even without a /dev/ttyUSB0 device being present. We can then resolve
the AppArmor denial by adding something like:
/{,var/}run/gpsd.sock rw,
to the AppArmor profile - so that this remains if the package provided
profile gets

Yeah it's not obvious but buggy gnome-shell extensions can still cause
problems even when disabled. They need to be uninstalled. It sounds like
that is working well so far...
As for the CPU usage, that's not related to this bug so should be
discussed elsewhere. I think that's a general problem

I've found out that `/etc/environment.d` is not intended for setting
environment variables for login shells. From poettering at
https://github.com/systemd/systemd/issues/12938:
@dschepler is right. systemd-environment-d-generator gets run by
systemd --user, and thus set environment variables
I'll create the new issue there.
I have only one monitor.
